Anastasia spent the night with her friend, Victoria, last night and is staying an extra night. Victoria lives on a farm with horses, miniature horses, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats! Rufus loves visiting the farm and has made friends with all of the animals, but he doesn’t get under the feet of the horses…smart doggie!

Anastasia and Mom’s garden is producing lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, ocra and peppers. Mom and Pickles are making marinara this weekend from the tomatoes….yum! Rufus will be in the kitchen to catch any spills:)

Pickles and Rufus are taking a nap and will head over to play in WIll’s pool once it cools down a bit. Aren’t lazy Sunday afternoons grand?!

Pickles and Rufus had another fun weekend. This week Dad is taking a few days off and the family is going to the water park and to the zoo. While they are out, Rufus will go next door to play with his best friend, Houston. Have a great time everyone!

Anastasia and Mom are going to the library today to choose some summer reading books. Rufus loves it when Pickles reads to him:)

Pickles had a great time playing with Will in his pool this weekend. Rufus and Will’s dog, Houston, played and napped on the back porch under the ceiling fan:) Another great summer weekend!

The Pickering family had a very nice 4th of July at their community picnic. Pickles and Rufus are still snoozing this morning, but soon they will awake and a new fun day will begin!

Pickles and Rufus had a great time on their visit to Nana and Papa’s house. Now they are back home and Pickles is helping Mom make potato salad for tomorrow’s community 4th of July picnic while Rufus takes a snooze:)
