It’s Friday! During the summer months, every day is Friday for Pickles and Rufus:) Pickles’ best friend, Sarah, is spending the weekend and they are going next door to play with Will and to swim in his pool. Fun times ahead!

The Pickering family(which always includes Rufus:) had a very enjoyable Independence Day. They attended a community gathering that included a cookout, music, games for the children and a speaker. Because Rufus is afraid of the loud sound that fireworks make, Mom, Dad, and Pickles brought him home a little early and stayed by his side…

Pickles and Mom are getting lots of cucumbers from their garden and tomatoes are just starting to ripen. Their eggplant and okra are not too far behind….yum, yum!
