Pickles and Rufus are very excited. Both sets of grandparents are visiting through the holiday weekend! Happy Thanksgiving from the Pickering family to yours!

Pickles has a big math test this week. She sometimes struggles with math so each night Dad will help her with her practice work. Rufus will nap by his best friend’s side as she studies:) Having him by her side is very relaxing and helps her concentrate.

Brrr, it’s chilly outside. Pickles decided that she and Rufus will play indoor games after school today. Rufus always wears his fur coat so he doesn’t mind cold weather….but he always wants to be with his best friend.

Pickle’s class is at the zoo today. It is her favorite field trip! She really hopes to see the lions and the chimpanzees. Fingers crossed!

Pickles studied hard for her spelling test yesterday and she got all of her words correct! For her good grade, Mom will take her and Rufus to the beach after school. Toes and paws in the sand are good for the soul:)

Pickles and Mom are going to buy some swiss chard, kale, and cabbage plants this weekend. Rufus loves to watch them work in the garden. However, he loves to play in the garden! Sorry Rufus, no doggies allowed:)

These are definitely not Anastasia sprinkles that we are experiencing today! The wind and rain make for a great day to play inside and that is what Pickles and Rufus plan to do. Stay dry everyone!

The sun has come out from behind the clouds and Rufus is eager to play. Mom and Rufus will pick up Pickles at school today and head to the doggie park!

Pickles is already looking forward to this weekend. The Pickering family will go pumpkin shopping at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday. Dad and Pickles will carve the pumpkins while Mom and Rufus supervise! Halloween is not far away!

Pickles and Rufus had a great weekend playing outside. Now it is back to school for Pickles. She has a spelling and math test this week!
