Pickles is officially on summer break! She and Rufus are going next door to play in Will’s pool. Pickles will swim and Rufus will play with Houston, Wills doggie:)

Pickles is very excited to be in the last week of school before summer break! Rufus will be very happy to spend a whole summer playing with his best friend:)

Pickles fell back to sleep this morning after Mom woke her so she is running late. Rufus knows the drill…wait by the front door as she rushes around and all will go well:)

Pickles and Rufus have a big weekend planned. Pickles has been invited to a pool party on Saturday and Rufus will hang out with Dad. On Sunday, the two best friends plan to do a lot of serious playing:)

Pickles and Rufus had a very nice Memorial Day weekend. Their family attended a ceremony for our fallen soldiers on Monday afternoon. Now it is back to school for Pickles. Rufus will meet his best friend at the bus stop this afternoon.

Today Pickles told Rufus that the school year will end soon and they will have a whole summer to play. He doesn’t know what she’s saying, but she seems happy, so he’s happy too!

Pickles and Rufus had a great time playing this weekend. They are both asleep now…fun can be very tiring! Sleep well you two!

Pickles, Rufus and Mom got caught in a rain shower as they walked from the bus stop today. No worries for the Pickering family because they all carry an umbrella whenever they are with Pickles. It seems she is always running into rain showers:)

Pickles and Rufus had a fun weekend. They played outside all day on Saturday and made up lots of fun inside games on Sunday until the rain passed…then they were back outside again! Now, it’s back to school for Pickles:)

Pickles got her spelling test back today. She missed one word which gave her an A. For her good grade, Mom is taking her for ice cream. Rufus gets to go too. He is always ready for a possible spill!
