Summer break is almost here! This afternoon Pickles will help Mom make brownies for the last day of school party tomorrow. Rufus will have his best friend at home everyday very soon!!

It’s Friday! Will, Anastasia’s neighbor, has invited her to play in his pool all weekend. Rufus is invited too. He loves to play with Will’s dog, Houston. No water for these doggies though! Have fun everyone:)

One more full week of school and summer break will be official! Pickles is so excited for a whole summer to play with her best friend. Rufus doesn’t understand the reason for her excitement, but he’s happy anyway!

When Pickle’s alarm clock rang this morning, she fell back to sleep, so now she is scurrying about. Rufus knows what this rush means, so he waited downstairs for their walk to the bus stop:) Smart doggie!

Today Anastasia’s class took a trip to the Botanical Gardens and everyone had a great time on this beautiful, sunny day! Rufus and Mom will meet her at the bus stop in another hour:)

Pickles and Rufus are still snoozing this morning, but later in the day they are going to the local Arts Festival with Mom and Dad. Rufus loves “sniffing out” the crowd!!

Pickles has a cold so she stayed home from school today with Mom and her best buddy Rufus. They are napping while Mom makes soup for lunch. Get well soon Anastasia:)

Rufus doesn’t know, but in one month his best friend will be out of school for the summer! Fun times are ahead!!

Pickles and Mom planted their vegetable garden this past weekend…tomatoes, cucumbers, okra, beets, basil, bell peppers, eggplant and parsley! So far Rufus remembers his place is NOT in the garden….So far:)

The weather is a little overcast but Anastasia’s spirits are high. It’s Friday! She and Mom are going to plant the vegetable plants that they bought last week on Saturday. Dad is going to take Rufus for a jog during that time, because Rufus and freshly tilled earth are not a good combination! Have a…
