Pickles is taking a Junior Chefs cooking class this week at Young Chefs Academy. Today she is learning kitchen safety. Tomorrow will be manners. This has been a fun first week out of school!

Anastasia had a great first weekend of summer vacation. She went to her best friend’s dance recital on Saturday and then swimming on Sunday. This is going to be a fun summer!

Pickles class is having a party today for the end of school and she gets out tomorrow at noon. Woo hoo…Summer is almost official in the Pickering household!!

The Pickering family had a great time this past weekend visiting relatives. Now the countdown begins until Pickles and Rufus have a whole summer to spend together!!

The Pickering family is going to visit Pickles grandparents this weekend. Everyone is excited, especially Rufus, because he loves to go for a ride. Have fun everyone!

Rufus is snoozing under a tree while Dad cuts the grass and Pickles is helping Mom with groceries. Later the family is going to the doggie park to exercise Rufus…knowing Rufus his family members will get plenty of exercise too!

Pickles got up early this Memorial Day morning to help Mom in the kitchen. The Pickering family, along with Rufus, will attend a holiday neighborhood cookout this afternoon. Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Anastasia and Rufus are still snoozing this morning, but soon their day will begin and a fun weekend is in store. She and Rufus have been invited to Will’s house again to swim. Rufus does NOT like water, so he will play with Houston, Will’s dog. Then comes Memorial day…stay tuned:)

Pickles has a spelling test today. She studied hard and Rufus remained quiet while Mom called out her words last night. Good luck Anastasia!
