Anastasia and Mom are going shopping for new school shoes today. Rufus doesn’t care for shopping, so he will wait by the front door with his new chew toy. Happy shopping girls!

Anastasia is in her last week of sleeping past 6:00 a.m. The only thing that can be heard from her room this morning is Rufus’s snoring!

Anastasia had a great day playing with Will, her neighbor, in his pool. Rufus and Houston, Will’s dog, are NOT water dogs, so their dog play was nowhere near the pool:)

Anastasia went shopping with Mom for school supplies this past weekend. She and Rufus are going to play every possible minute before school begins…right now they are still snoozing:)

Anastasia and her best friend Sarah went to the water park yesterday. Five hours of water slides made for a fun day and two very tired little girls! Today is another day and Rufus is ready for his walk…ruff, ruff means wake up Pickles:)

The Pickering’s vegetable garden is doing very well this summer. Today Mom will teach Pickles about freezing and canning. When the girls work in the kitchen, Rufus snoozes in the den. zzzzzzz……

  Mom is teaching Pickles about watercolor painting today. Rufus is quite interested in their project…watch out girls!!

Pickles and Rufus are still sleeping soundly, but they have big plans today. Pickle’s cousins are coming to visit and they always have a great time playing together. Of course Rufus will be in the middle of all the excitement!

Pickles and mom are working in the garden today. Rufus loves to join them in the garden but he is not allowed. Silly boy thinks digging up the veggies is the same thing as helping!

Anastasia and Rufus had a great time visiting her grandparents, but it is nice to be home. She is still sleeping soundly this morning and Rufus is chasing balls in his sleep as he snoozes by her bedside
