Pickles and Rufus are enjoying the summer break. Will, her neighbor, invites them over to swim most days. Rufus is not a fan of the water but loves to play with Will’s dog, Houston:) Have fun everyone!

What a lovely afternoon for Pickles and Rufus to take a trip to the dog park! Rufus loves chasing balls and playing with the other doggies. Let playtime begin!

Pickles was allowed to stay up until 9:00 last night to watch the super bowl. Rufus hung out with his family while napping all evening. It seems football doesn’t excite Anastasia’s best friend:)

Pickles and Rufus have enjoyed playing outside on this crisp Sunday. A family bike ride is in the works for later today, but for now, Pickles is eating lunch while Rufus naps in his bed.

Pickles and Rufus are delighted to have a few warm days this week to get out and play. She, Mom, and Rufus will head to the dog park after school. Rufus is in need of some exercise!

Pickles is very excited that Christmas is just around the corner. She, Mom, and Nana are doing some last minute shopping while Rufus is napping and Dad and Papa are watching ESPN and doing a little gift wrapping of their own. Wishing you all a happy holiday season!

Pickles and Mom cooked all morning on Thanksgiving. They also baked sweet potato and pumpkin pies, which are Dad’s favorites. Rufus wasn’t allowed in the kitchen during prep time but he was eager to get his Thanksgiving treat at dinnertime!

Pickles had a busy day today. She helped her neighbor, Will, and his dad close their pool for the season. Rufus and Will’s dog played hard all day. Now, it is time for rest and dinner:)

This Memorial Day, the Pickering family will attend a service in their hometown to honor our fallen heroes. This year, Pickles’ Nana and Papa are visiting and will also attend.
