Tomorrow is the first day of school for Pickles. Rufus will miss being with his best friend, but he and Mom will walk her to the bus stop in the mornings and meet her there in the afternoons!

Pickles and Rufus had a great July 4th with Nana and Papa. They still have a few more days together before her grandparents leave to go back home. We hope you have a safe and happy ending to your holiday weekend!

Pickles and Rufus are having lots of fun so far this summer. Nana and Papa are coming to visit on Friday for the 4th of July weekend. It will soon be party time at the Pickerings!

Pickles and Mom made Dad his favorite meal for Father’s Day and gave him a new pickleball racket and new swim trunks. Of course, Pickles made him a card and drew a pawprint from Rufus:)

Friday is Anastasia’s last day of school. Rufus will soon have his best friend around to play all summer long! Shhh….don’t tell him. It’s a big surprise:)

Today the Pickering family attended a service at their City Hall to honor our fallen soldiers. Later they participated in a community meal to celebrate the freedoms for which our soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice.

Pickles made a lovely card for Mom for Mother’s Day, and Dad took everyone to lunch at a nice restaurant. Rufus was allowed to come too because the restaurant allowed dogs on the covered patio. Mom felt very special, and everyone had a great day!

Pickles and Rufus are enjoying this beautiful weekend! Later today, Pickles and Mom are going to pick strawberries while Rufus and Dad head to the Farmer’s Market. Have a great Sunday everyone:)

Pickles is spending the weekend with her friend Victoria this weekend. Victoria lives on a farm with horses, donkeys, chickens, goats, farm cats, and dogs! Rufus is allowed to come also. He is snoozing by the front door, waiting for the time he and Mom pick Pickles up at the bus stop…then the fun begins!
